The work “Kriváň” is a powerful visual metaphor for connection. Not only between human beings, but also between the individual and collective memory, national identity, and the spirit of the country. The author depicts a series of stylized human figures whose bodies and faces merge into a fluid ornamental structure. Each figure has its own color and expression, yet they are all connected by a unified rhythm of lines, patterns, and emotions.
The dominant red and the transition between colors reflect inner strength, courage, and fragility. The symbolism of the red and colored dots on the faces may represent the individuality, emotions, or life experience of each person. The ornamental background evokes natural motifs, perhaps even mountain structures, which may be a direct visual reference to Kriváň as a Slovak national symbol and spiritual peak.
