Under the impression of a conversation with a Spaniard about COVID, a work was created featuring typical attributes of Spain. A resigned bull, attacked by the virus (represented by colorful spots within the bull’s body), no longer reacts to the muleta. It stands in the arena, where the sand is no longer firm but has become an unstable, undulating surface. Stylized realism.
