Bojan Stričević was born on May 9, 1991. in Novi Sad, where he graduated from the high school for design “Bogdan Šuput” in the direction of art technician. He completed his basic and master’s studies in the class of Vasilij Dolovački and Dragan Martinović at the Academy of Fine Arts of the EDUCONS University. Graduated in 2014. with a subject on the American painter John Singer Sargent, master’s degree in 2016. with a subject on Russian painting at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Education at the Academy of Fine Arts had a decisive influence on his work.

He gained his first artistic experience at the age of 7 in the studio of the famous academic painter Viktor Škrabanj from Bečej, where he encountered drawing portraits based on a living model for the first time.
Inspired by the works of Russian painters of the 19th and 20th centuries such as Ilya Rjepin, Isak Levitan, Vasilij Polenov, Ivan Šiškin and other painters of that time. The works of Bojan Stričević are presented in a classical approach, starting from drawings as the basis of his expression. His creativity develops in watercolor, dry pastel and oil techniques. Using oil on canvas technique, Bojan takes us on a journey to a different, idyllic world.
He uses rich colors, in his paintings he strives to preserve the beauty of a moment and to give them a new and eternal life. For Bojan, colors are part of reality!
