Born in 1987 in Žilina, Jarmila Marčišová is dedicated to drawing, free creation, and pedagogical work.
In her artistic endeavors, she captures the Slovak nature in an abstract form, reflecting the colors of the changing seasons. She creates a distinctive artistic perspective, developing the technique of structural drawing and utilizing the natural qualities of the materials used. She also sets ambitious goals, aiming to touch on ideals of perfection, beauty, and freedom, and to transcend the horizons of everyday, utilitarian life.
